Hot and Wet

When I say hot and wet, it doesn't necessarily mean something sexy or sexual. It is the weather in Hong Kong. It was burning hot two days ago and it finally rains today. I don't really like raining but since it makes the temperature lower, it makes me feel good.

Last night me and my colleagues including my boss were planning for a basketball game, but in the end nothing happened because we didn't have a court. I didn't want to lose my planned sports day and so I left early after office hour, and went swimming after a quick dinner. I haven't swum for a long time and I am losing the summer, so I should swim more when I have the chance.

It feels so good to be back in water. Some people hate swimming alone, but I don't really care. In water when you are floating, you feel like flying. Free, floating and flowing. It is like the most relaxing thing in the world.

There is one more thing that captivates me during swimming, the caustics underwater. Caustics is the water shining pattern at the bottom of the pool, and it is ever-changing. The light shines in and forms just a lovely pattern for you to look at when you are flying in the water, and I think that's one of the greatest shows by the Nature.
